US Dollar Falls Against the Egyptian Pound in Today’s Banking Transactions

The US dollar declined against the Egyptian pound during today’s trading, according to the latest data released by the banking sector, as the foreign exchange market remains under close observation.

The Central Bank of Egypt reported the US dollar at 47.32 EGP for buying and 47.46 EGP for selling, indicating a slight drop compared to earlier levels.

In state-owned banks, the US dollar traded at 47.27 EGP for buying and 47.37 EGP for selling at the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, matching rates at Banque du Caire and Bank of Alexandria.

Meanwhile, the Commercial International Bank (CIB) recorded the dollar at 47.25 EGP for buying and 47.35 EGP for selling, one of the lowest prices available today.

Market participants continue to track US dollar movements closely as economic developments influence currency trends in Egypt.
