Saudi riyal remains stable against the Egyptian pound on Thursday

The Saudi riyal remained stable against the Egyptian pound during mid-day trading on Thursday, reflecting calm conditions in the local foreign exchange market.

The Saudi riyal was quoted at EGP 12.61 for buying and EGP 12.65 for selling at the Central Bank of Egypt.

At the National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr, the Saudi riyal stood at EGP 12.53 for buying and EGP 12.60 for selling.

At other banks, the riyal traded at EGP 12.57 for buying and EGP 12.62 for selling at Bank of Alexandria, and around EGP 12.55 for buying and EGP 12.60 for selling at the Commercial International Bank.

The stability of the Saudi riyal comes amid steady demand linked to travel, pilgrimage activities, and ongoing trade relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
