OECD Country Programme strengthens Egypt’s economic reform path
Egypt continues to deepen its international partnerships to support economic and institutional reform, as the Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation discussed cooperation prospects with the OECD Secretary-General on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
The minister stressed that the OECD Country Programme provides a practical framework aligning Egypt’s national development priorities with global best practices, while reinforcing evidence-based policymaking and structural reforms.
She noted that the OECD Country Programme includes dozens of projects across key areas such as improving the business climate, boosting competitiveness, and strengthening governance to attract domestic and foreign investment.
By leveraging analytical reports and technical expertise, Egypt aims to enhance policy efficiency, with the OECD Country Programme serving as a cornerstone for achieving Egypt Vision 2030 and sustainable growth objectives.
