The Suez Canal Authority announced the transit of vessels operated by global shipping giants Maersk and CMA CGM, signaling a gradual return of maritime traffic through this critical trade route.
The transit included CMA CGM’s vessels “CMA CGM Jacques Saade” and “CMA CGM Adonis,” alongside Maersk’s vessel “Seabrook,” following Maersk’s recent announcement of its first Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb transit in nearly two years.
These developments come as international shipping companies continue to assess navigation conditions in the Suez Canal, one of the world’s most vital trade corridors linking Asia and Europe.
