Egyptian Petroleum Authority launches digital platform to enhance environmental performance

As part of Egypt’s digital transformation in the energy sector, the Egyptian Petroleum Authority has launched a specialized digital platform to monitor and analyze environmental performance indicators across its affiliated companies.

The platform aims to standardize the collection and digital processing of environmental data, enhancing operational efficiency, improving decision-making accuracy, and increasing transparency within the sector.

Officials highlighted that environmental performance is a core pillar of the authority’s strategy, with the platform enabling real-time assessment of key indicators while supporting sustainability goals and compliance with local and international standards.

Training workshops have also been conducted for company representatives to ensure effective use of the system, strengthen data quality, and maximize the impact of environmental performance monitoring in line with Egypt’s sustainable development and digitalization efforts.
